Pilates Level Guide

Determining your Pilates level helps ensure that you participate in classes and exercises appropriate for your skill and fitness level. At our studio, we understand the importance of providing tailored guidance to our clients, so we have developed a guide to help you determine your Pilates level for our studio. By assessing your abilities and experience, we can recommend suitable classes and exercises to challenge you without causing injury or frustration. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, our goal is to support your Pilates journey and help you achieve your fitness goals effectively and safely.

Remember, this is a guide only for our studio. Most of our classes allow for individuals with different skill levels. This is because our class sizes are intentionally small, ensuring personalized attention from our expert instructors, who can easily adapt intensity, range of motion, and resistance to accommodate all levels.

Beginner

Yay, and welcome! Get ready for an amazing and transformative experience for your body! A beginner refers to someone new to practicing Pilates or has limited experience in this form of exercise. A beginner requires an introduction to Pilates equipment and additional guidance and modifications to ensure proper form and avoid injury. Beginners must take a private 50-minute or 30-minute new to Pilates session. There is one exception to this. If you have a group of 2 or more, we can create a duet or class for beginners. Contact us directly for that option.
