Teaching ways to Align, Strengthen, Correct Posture and Improve Balance
Lisa is a Comprehensive Master Certified Pilates Instructor and National Pilates Instructor and owns the Longboat Key Pilates studio. She personally understands the benefits of pilates as a form of exercise for improving one’s quality of life as a result of her own physical limitations from Fibromyalgia, scoliosis, surgeries, injuries, and an aging body.
Lisa’s approach to fitness involves incorporating classical pilates and movement exercises, leading to enhanced muscular strength, improved flexibility, proper movement patterns, better balance, pain relief, improved mental clarity, and an overall better quality of life. In the studio, Lisa uses various Pilates equipment and low-impact exercises to help clients improve posture, increase stability, regain muscle mass, and increase core strength. Her clients appreciate her individualized attention and instruction on how to correctly utilize muscle groups she notices needing focus, leading to proper controlled movements and correcting imbalances in body movement.
Lisa understands the significance of physical activity in maintaining mental health and overall well-being, regardless of age, fitness level, or physical changes due to injury. She has extensive experience working with various conditions such as scoliosis, neuropathy, pre and post-surgery, athletes, and surgery rehab across all age groups, from seniors to young teens.
