Our reformer Pilates classes are small and limited to 5 participants. 

Classes are led by experienced instructors who bring decades of experience and expertise to each session. With a deep understanding of the body, (including an older body) and the practice of pilates, our instructors craft classes that are more than just a set routine—they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each group.

While the class descriptions below serve as a guide for areas of focus, our instructors are skilled at adjusting exercises on the fly based on participants’ needs and skill levels. For example, if many participants are feeling tight, the instructor may shift the class to emphasize fluid movements with a focus on lengthening and strengthening.

No matter the day, every class will incorporate key elements like balance, posture, and core strength, ensuring you leave feeling stronger and more aligned.

If you are new to Pilates and looking for a beginner reformer class, we encourage taking either the slow and flow reformer class or classical Pilates class.

Quick Reformer Classes FAQ

Class Etiquette

  • Pilates socks are required and can be purchased in the studio.
  • Do not wear jewelry except exercise watches to avoid damaging the equipment or getting caught on something.
  • Wear appropriate workout attire.
  • Do not get on any equipment until the instructor indicates to do so. 
  • If you arrive late to your session, quietly join the class.

Class Duration and Size

Our studio classes are 50 minutes, and sizes are limited to 5 individuals. As instructors, we can comfortably watch 5 reformers, allowing for more personalized attention along with closely observing and correcting individual form and technique, ensuring you perform the exercises correctly and safely. 

Class Levels

Our instructors deeply understand Pilates principles and techniques, which they effectively communicate and demonstrate to students at all levels. They will adjust the intensity, range of motion, and resistance to cater to beginner+, intermediate, and advanced levels within the same class. This ensures that everyone can progress at their own pace while being appropriately challenged.

Cancellation Policy

We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur that interfere with your appointment time. However, due to the high demand for our services and out of respect for our instructors and our other clients, we require that you provide a 24-hour notice for any class changes or cancellations to avoid being charged for the class.

Register Early & Waitlist

We encourage you to register early. You can place your name on our waitlist through the online scheduling system or message us if a class is full. If space opens up, you will be notified.

Rotation of Classes

Our class schedules adjust with the seasonality of the island. October – May is our busy season when we offer more classes. Check our schedule page as we update monthly classes offered and times. We may change class dates and times to accommodate the ebb and flow of seasonal islanders, so check back for changes during the season.
